Our Process
step 1

Cleaning
Bergman crews clean and dry the area using air compressors with a minimum of 100 psi and heat lances with a minimum temperature of 2200 degrees. Sealant will not adhere to dirty or wet surfaces.

step 2

Sealing
BCI FLEX-PATCH is applied through a wand and then hand squeegeed to insure proper coverage. A sufficient amount of sealant is applied to flood the entire distressed area and provide an 1/8" base to hold the final cover material.

step 3

Final Cover
A fine aggregate cover material is applied over the sealant when addressing cupped joints in asphalt pavement. The cover material has the added benefit of improving the ride of the surface.
